We are extremely fortunate to have great friends and great neighbors. One of the things we like best about our house is the people who live nearby! Over the past few weeks we've gotten together with many of them, and we were able to hang out with almost all of our neighbors at the recent block party. Our friends and neighbors have also been wonderfully generous and helpful in assisting us with our move, in so many ways--lending tools, vehicles, & expertise, watching our kids for a day or an afternoon while we plow through the interminable lists of projects, agreeing to store some of our stuff, look after our cat, and on and on. It's really humbling that so many people are willing to do these things for us, and it reinforces my suspicion that what we will miss most about Seattle are all of these amazing people.
(These pictures are not meant to be exhaustive, much of the time we were too busy socializing to adequately document the moment! Don't worry--if you don't see yourself here, it doesn't mean you aren't loved!)
